Job Responsibilities

As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the company's financial health and business growth. Your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Financial Analysis and Reporting

  • Conduct regular financial analysis to assess the performance of business units and projects.
  • Prepare accurate financial reports, including budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks to assist in strategic planning and decision-making.

2. Business Partnering

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including department heads, project managers, and senior executives.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand financial needs and provide actionable insights and analysis.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, offering strategic recommendations to optimize financial performance and drive growth.

3. Budgeting and Forecasting

  • Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with various business units to set realistic and achievable financial goals.
  • Prepare rolling forecasts and conduct scenario analysis to support decision-making and mitigate risks.
  • Monitor actual performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.

4. Process Improvement and Efficiency

  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve financial processes, systems, and controls.
  • Streamline financial reporting processes and implement best practices to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at optimizing resource allocation to maximize ROI across the business.

Qualifications & Skills

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Professional qualification in Finance (CA, MBA, or equivalent).
  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Excel, SAP, BI tools).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence decision-making at all levels.
  • Solid business acumen and strategic thinking to align financial goals with organizational objectives.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
