Roles & Responsibilities
The responsibilities associated with this position encompass various activities, including month-end closing tasks, the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations, as well as balance sheet analysis. This role will provide comprehensive support to management across financial accounting, reporting systems, procedures, and policies. Furthermore, it will play a pivotal role in fostering the development of systems and processes within the department to ensure continuous enhancements in efficiency and control.
Basic Qualifications
Certification as an Accountant, such as CA, ICWA, CIMA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent
Previous experience in Retail, Marketplaces, or Financial Retail Services is advantageous
Exceptional interpersonal skills, both written and oral
A commitment to Operational Excellence, process improvement, and simplification
Profound knowledge of financial controls and procedures, with a preference for familiarity with US GAAP
Advanced proficiency in Excel and expertise in SQL are prerequisites
Familiarity with Oracle/SAP systems
Flexibility, adaptability, and strong organizational skills
Knowledge of Six Sigma defect reduction techniques (e.g., Lean) is preferred
Proactive and self-motivated with a high level of enthusiasm and energy
Strong teamwork abilities
Additional Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years of finance experience
A track record of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) for analysis, with at least 2 years of relevant experience
Proficiency in standard software applications, including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL, and VBA skills
Demonstrated ability to leverage data for influencing business decisions
Corporate finance experience, including budgeting, planning, forecasting, and reporting
Salary Package
The offered salary package is 10.49 LPA CTC (Based on Glassdoor estimates).
