QA – Test Engineer Responsibilities
As a QA – Test Engineer at BookMyShow, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products through comprehensive testing. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with internal teams to understand system requirements
- Designing and executing meticulous test cases
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs
- Conducting thorough regression testing after bug fixes
- Developing and applying testing protocols for new and existing products
- Delivering User Acceptance Testing (UAT) demonstrations to the Product team
- Monitoring and recording quality assurance metrics
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in QA testing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Manual Testing concepts
- Experience with Defect Life Cycle and defect tracking tools like JIRA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with performance and/or security testing is a plus
