Job Description
As a Product Compliance Associate in the Compliance Operations (C-Ops) team, you will be responsible for ensuring that Amazon transactions meet legal and safety requirements globally. This involves identifying risks associated with conducting business in different countries and ensuring the smooth movement of products across borders. Your main focus will be safeguarding Amazon customers from illegal, hazardous, or prohibited products in accordance with the law and Amazon policies. Additionally, you will contribute to defining, applying, and defending regulatory policies and contractual requirements.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in both verbal and written communication in English.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office, MS Outlook, and preferably MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze patterns in large data sets.
- Decision-making abilities based on guidelines, even in ambiguous contexts.
- Comfortable working with large data sets.
- Excellent internet navigation and research skills to efficiently find specific product information.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Reporting violations of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, and recommending investigative and corrective procedures.
- Classifying products based on standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Following SOP and instructions provided by managers.
- Suggesting process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer experience.
- Providing guidance to stakeholders and promptly updating Lead/Manager.
Qualifications for the Role
- Any graduate and above (except Diploma).
- Office-based role (No WFH or Hybrid model).
- 0-4 years of experience (freshers are also welcome).
- Immediate joiners preferred.
- Good communication skills with analytical abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of consumer product compliance processes and regulations.
- Experience in regulatory compliance management with government agencies.
