Amazon is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Device Associate to join our team in Chennai, India. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of QA methodology and associated tools, as well as prior hands-on experience in testing consumer devices.
Responsibilities
- Execute test cases that have been meticulously prepared for the purpose of testing software builds.
- Thoroughly perform the execution of test cases, ensuring accurate reporting of identified bugs.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of testing protocols and guidelines applicable to new builds/releases.
- Engage in iterative regression testing and repetitive exercises aimed at certifying builds, all the while upholding an unwavering commitment to quality.
- Proficiently utilize software tools to capture data on a daily basis.
- Demonstrate ease in recording results, along with effectively communicating and escalating instances of failure, subsequently furnishing individualized status reports.
- Elevate any and all concerns or uncertainties pertaining to test case execution to the clarification portal, diligently seeing them through to resolution within the stipulated Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with QA methodology and associated tools.
- Prior hands-on experience in testing consumer devices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
